ROOPHLOCH Entry 1, Amish Country (zaibatsu), 09/03/2019

Below is entry #1, I hope to do a few more, to get me out 
and about!

No internet access, out in Amish/Mennonite country near 
Versailles, MO. Figured it would be a great time to meet the 
ROOPHLOCH[1] challenge! We drove out for the Dutch Country 
Store (to replace that 50lb bag of wheat that was lost[2]), 
and to have fun looking at shops. Stopped at a little store 
with craft supplies. They only took cash or check, but 
mentioned that if we didn't have those with us we could take 
our purchases home and just mail a check. You don't get that 
kind of trust at many businesses these days... Now we're at 
another shop with school supplies. The coolest thing to me 
here are the wide variety of hourglass timers, in 30sec to 
15min. I guess if you don't use technology as much, you 
still have to have some way to mark the passage of time!
