Re: buckwheat (zaibatsu.circumlunar.space), 03/23/2020 ------------------------------------------------------------ Boris recently wrote about Russians buying up buckwheat[1]. We're all different, yet we're all the same... different grains, same feelings or fears under it all. About a week ago I was at the store buying grains for my daughter's birds. I saw the buckwheat in bulk, and even called her about it. She erroneously stated that her birds couldn't have it (she found later that they could). In the moment, I was only thinking of the birds, but in point of fact, I grew up eating buckwheat. My "mormor" (grandmother) is Swedish, and she used to cook kasha for us all the time. I love the smell and taste of steaming kasha. If I was thinking, I would have gotten some buckwheat for myself while I was there. [1] gopher://boris.shminke.ml:70/0/gopherlog/2020.03/2020.03.23.md
