      Welcome/Rambling, (circumlunar), 09/21/2018

This  was supposed  to be  a phlog  on art,  writing, music,
language, cycling,  "and more." That  is already a  lot, but
now it has become my go-to  phlog when grex (my "main" phlog
I guess) is down. This is not a frequent event, but it seems
to happen every time I feel like writing something.

And so, here  I am, breaking my own feeble  rules. I have no
will power  I guess. Thankfully,  I'm pretty sure no  one is
regulating  my  actions  here in  the  Mare  Tranquillitatis
People's Circumlunar Zaibatsu[1]!

(As an aside, I, being somewhat ignorant of world history as
I tend to be, didn't really understand what a "Zaibatsu" was
when  I joined  up  here.  I didn't  catch  on  when I  read
Schismatrix either- required reading for all sundogs, except
when it's not. But just the other day, I happened to see the
term  whilst  reading  about the  Zimmerman  Telegram[2][3].
Fascinating, and enlightening!)

Now, to the point. I wanted to reach out and welcome krixano
to this  wonderful space  we call  gopher[4]. You  found the
right place,  and the right  server! Circumlunar Space  is a
breath of stagnant, claustrophobic  synthetic air in a world
no  longer  filled with  anything  but  patented and  highly
controlled  air-alternatives. It  is a  place where  you can
seek refuge among what is left of the degraded solar system,
especially suited  to those who  have no other place  to go,
and who  are willing to  endure every sort of  injustice, as
long as they are granted their One Civil Right.

I am, of course, only  playing with words. Circumlunar Space
is a great server, with a splendid sci-fi theme, and a great
and growing cast of players! You are most welcomed!
