------------------------------------------------------------ Cycling, (circumlunar), 08/24/2018 ------------------------------------------------------------ I am a beginner cyclist. Not because I've never ridden a bike, nor because I intend on applying the nomenclature of "cyclist" to myself in any official way... I'm a beginner cyclist because I just bought a bike that I'm excited about, and because I want to ride it, and because it's been a couple decades since I've ridden regularly. The bike is a Citizen Tokyo[1] with airless tires. It's an inexpensive folding bike from a small company, that looked nicer to me (and had more options) than the cheap Schwinn folding bikes on Amazon. Maybe it's not any better, I don't know, but it looked nice and old cost a little more. There were some higher-priced brands that I'm sure would have been great too, but I'm not ready for that. Circumlunar has a shell bbs, and on it there is a cycling board where discussions are starting. I figured my phlog here would be as good a place as any for me to write down any thoughts I might have on the matter. If you're not on circumlunar, seek asylum there immediately[2] and join the discussion. Or, just post your thoughts on gopher, and we'll all find them.
