Work carrells, dozens, fill the narrow room.  They are child-sized,
festooned with crude scribblings and (presumed) vulgarity in their
language.  Several small tools can be found tucked away in cracks and
corners along with the minuscule gears, screws, and casings to fit un-
known projects.
