cronwatch with gopher : allows to kick HTTP servers! // 18-3-26 While playing around on [1]circumlunar I noticed my [2]cronwatch suite should work out of the box with gopher and not just http. Indeed, as my trials have shown, but on several systems, wget cannot handle gopher. On mine, lynx is available everywhere, but not curl , therefore I have set lynx as default "fetcher" in cronwatch. Now it's also running on circumlunar, and I will gradually exchange HTTP by Gopher in the cronwatch configurations on my other servers. This will allow me to get rid of the HTTP servers there as well. Yay, reduce to the max! .:. References 1. gopher://circumlunar.space/ 2. http://github.com/hb9kns/cronwatch
