Career Mistakes =============== I recently saw on LinkedIn another linkt to an article written by a labor market expert. It is another one about career mistakes, which means that if you apply to a job and even go to a job intervie, chances are that you won't get the job because you have made a career mistake. I really do hate it when what I do is defined as a mistake, I didn't even click the link to the depressing article, this time about being a Jack of all trades. What the heck? I don't believe anyone will hire me for a position of a code monkey. Apparently, that's what I am, so I'm learning how to be a good technician. In addition, I still want to develop software, and I enjoy solving some math problems. I guess it makes me a Jack of all trades, and not a good candidate for a job. So please stop defining things as career mistake, and let people make a decent living.
