Downvotes And Farts

I received some downvotes on a comment I'd written to a some blog post.
Even if someone likes my comments I cannot see it because on that blog
one can only see the total grade. What the heck? Am I just a toxic troll?
Is my comment not food for thought?
Those downvotes reminds me of a fart I heard back then when I had that
toxic friend of mine. I once told him about a great rock band I like listening
to, but as I finish he farted.
What the heck? Is that what that thing I just told him is worth? A fart?
He never said he was sorry for that fart.
I'm no longer friends with him.
