Grammar Pedantry Syndrome ========================= Yay! The other day, someone shared that definiton on Facebook. I really like the definition of Grammar Pedantry Syndrome(GPS) as some sort of OCD because the letter D stands for "Disorder". C-O-O-L! Some people call those people, who correct other people's grammatical errors grammar nazis. But this is antagonizing expecially in my little Jewish country when somebody calls a Jew nazi. I don't like coming to a discussion - not even related to grammar - and find there that someone responses by correcting the error in public and in such a condescending manner. A good example is when someone says "a pant" instead of "a pair of pants". Is that a reason to shame that person as if he or she were public enemy number one? Sorry, but nobody owes the GPS people a thing.
