I will be going back this morning to let them know, I do have an
appointment to see them on Thursday, but that was for them to
read the machine to see ho the past week went for my oxygen
sats. No good waiting for then as I can't use it, so I will go
in this morning and see what can be done.
It seems the last few weeks all I have been doing is having
appointments with Drs, for my skin with the chemo cream and with
my oxygen sats and tomorrow morning I have an appointment with a
cardiologist for a check up. I also have to have another CTscan
done on my lungs tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully all will be well.

Bugger Darien don't wait just go and tell them you cannot use
the machine and hopefully they can sort it out for you ....
Plead ignorance or pain or whatever :)
It HAS been a while since you had so many appts. and medical
things as far as I can remember. Once upon a time you had lots
but then not too many at all
       (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien)))))))))))))
       )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Is it Winter time that sets you off with so many medical things
       ?
Sending love and prayers for you too and hoping all is well once
you get everything checked out and sorted :)

I went to the sleep place and they gave me another nose piece to
use and it is much more comfortable and I had it on all night. I
couldn't say I slept well, but that is only because I have to
       get used to it.
I don't think that Winter is the reason, I think it's just the
way things have worked out at the moment. I am getting
breathlessness a lot at the moment and I believe it's just my
lungs trying to recover from the inflammation. I don't really
know why my GP is insisting I see a cardiologist again, my age
       perhaps?? More money!!!!!!

Ah good that you did get a better nose piece and it seems to be
working OK and it WILL take a while to get used to sleeping with
it on I am sure !!!
Keep on keeping on... thats all we can do
       ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien))))))))))))))))))

This cold wet weather here is making me ache... my bones seem to
be aching !!!! Went to Whanganui today and when I got out of the
car after 30 minutes driving I was stiff as a board !!! Hips,
knees and neck ! I have a feeling this happens every winter but
I like to forget about it !
Best place is in my warm and comfy bed :)))))))))))))))))

It will take a bit of getting used to and I go back tomorrow
morning for them to see how it is working as the machine will
tell them if I am getting enough oxygen through the night. I
think it has a computer chip or something in it and they read
that. Much like a Oximeter I believe.
The cold weather does cause the bones to ache as we age and I
know my osteoarthritis is much worse in the winter, but I still
prefer Winter to Summer. I too love my nice warm, comfy bed
       [emoji7]
I was supposed to be meeting up with Deb today for a coffee, but
she has just rang to tell me she has a sore throat and a
headache and feels sore all over, so she won't be able to make
it [emoji17] It's very rare Deb comes down with anything and she
didn't want me to get it, so I have a free day today, the first
       one in a while.

been anywhere and I am not even properly dressed ... in my warm
fluffy PJ pants and NO bra under my tee shirt and jumper :)
Freedom :) I did go out to pick up the kids from the shop after
school but I never get out of the car I just toot outside the

I will ring Deb tomorrow, Friday, to see how she is fairing. I
spent most of the morning cleaning. I cleaned the office as it
was dirty and dusty, then I finished off the pantry. I had my
earphones on listening to my book, another murder mystery by
Sally Rigby. When I was in the kitchen, there was a knock on the
side window, it was Kylie. Apparently she had been knocking on
the front door for a bit and as my car was there she knew I was
home. I didn't hear because of my earphones and I had the door
still locked as it was too cold to have it open yesterday. Kylie
has this week off work as she starts a new job on Monday, same
thing working in insurance, but the office is in the city so she
will be working two days a week in Sydney and the other days
       from home.

I hope Deb is feeling better and why are you cleaning all
morning when you said you did not feel 100% in the other post ?
       ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien)))))))))))))))))))))))))
I don't know how you can go all morning with ear phones in your
ears listening to a story :))))))))))) Did Kylie get fed up
       with her last job ?

I actually didn't mean to do as much as I did, but I just kept
       going. I haven't been feeling 100% for a few days now, can't
quite put my finger on what is wrong though. My head is sore,
especially my cheeks, which is usually sinus and my ribcage
feels sore and chest feels tight. It's not enough to put myself
to bed or anything, but constantly there in the background. I
see my lung specialist again on Thursday and I had my CT Scan on
Tuesday, so I will soon find out how that is.
I saw the new Cardiologist last Tuesday morning, my goodness he
is young!!!!! Anyway, he took my BP and it was very high
170/110, so he has told me to increase my Minipress to one in
the morning as well as one at night. I will start that tomorrow
morning when Robert is home as Minipress can drop one's BP very
quickly until you get used to it. He also wants me to start
another BP medication, but the chemist advised me to do them one
week at a time, so I start the new ones next weekend. I also
have to have an echocardiograph on my heart just to check it's
working well. As I get very breathless when walking these days,
he wants to rule out if it's my heart and not just my lungs. On
the Merry-Go-Round of tests and pills once again. I am over it
all now as it's all been going on for over 24 years now.

I just read about Minipress and you do have to be careful when
taking it ... I hope the YOUNG doctor knows what he is talking
about telling you to increase the dosage just like that !!!
The echocardiograph is probably a good idea too. How long since
       you had one ?
Surely they should have a result now from your CT Scan last
       Tuesday ?
       ((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien))))))))))))))))))))))))))) IT's
       also called Ageing too !!!!!!!!!!
I woke up in the early hours this morning and my nose / sinus
was totally bunged up .... I had to get up and put a light on to
find my Flixonase spray ... have not had to use it for ages ! It
worked in the end but it took a while and I had to sit upright
for a while and it was cold !
I was wondering IF it was this air con heating as it was on for
a while last night ... while I was on here. Same again tonight
so I will see ! It's not on HOT either !
