AH shame but it would have been good here as I have space for it
to flower and grow :) IN fact I might have to buy one ...
thinking ! If you had it for 20 years they must be quite easy to
grow and easy to care for them ???

Rhododendrons and Azaleas are quite easy to grow, just make sure
that the soil doesn't have a lot of lime in it though. They both
making beautiful hedges too and last forever in the right
position. I have nine azaleas in pots around the place, some I
have had longer than the rhododendron!!!!! This spring, after
they have flowered, I will be cutting them right back as it's
been some years since I last did it and they are looking a bit
       'leggy'.

I might have to try Azaleas too as they are similar and look
       lovely.
Had awful wind and rain here today ... never got out of my pj
bottoms :) IF it gets better tomorrow I will go to some Garden
Centres and see what I can find :)

I stayed in my PJ's all day on Sunday and Belinda and Keith
popped in as she had made the labels for the new containers in
my pantry. Belinda put all the labels on them for me while Keith
helped Robert take some stuff to the tip. I am always
rearranging my pantry as it's an awkward shape and I fiddle with
it to get the best position for everything. This time I also
needed new containers. It looks better, but I will move a few
more things around this morning to finish it off. I also want to
get some spice racks to put on the inside of the door.
It's cold wet and miserable here today.

MY goodness I have never ever known anyone so fussy about their
pantry !!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW you have spoken of it before but
really and truly .... why do you have to have labels on
everything ? I Am trying to visualise your pantry ...I think
you did put pics up once upon a time and I am sure it is quite
normal :) OR Maybe I saw it in real life when Ange and I visited
       you ?????????????????
Mine is a two door 4 shelf cupboard !

I forgot to mention how I went to Whanganui today as I was a bit
bored ..... and I went to the Springvale Garden Centre.
 (HTM) https://springvalegardencentre.co.nz/
I thought it was quite expensive BUT I have not been to any
garden centre for a long time.
I bought a Rhododendron : Rhodo. Bumble Bee. Large conical
trusses of blue-purple with a striking black eye ! Free
flowering and quite stunning , Mid season ..grows 2 metres :)
NZ$49.00 ! Not cheap in my book BUT we shall see ! They had
loads of different varieties so I had no idea which one to pick
:) I Never did get an Azalea... I forgot the name ! Next time :)
I did get some NZ garlic bulbs that need planting NOW !

I know I am a fuss pot, but the pantry is important to have in
an order that makes access to things that are used often to be
easy to reach and the ones that are not put to the back. I no
doubt have shown you my pantry before, but I don't believe I
have rearranged it for quite some time now [emoji12] Mine is in
the shape of an upside down L, so it's an awkward shape too.
That looks like a lovely garden centre. We have one similar
about 20 minutes away from us here and it's more expensive too
than smaller nurseries and Bunnings etc. Your Rhododendrons are
more expensive than ours, I just did a quick search and I could
get the same one for $Au30!!!!!! It is a beautiful one though
and a double flower too [emoji7]

Hahahaha fairynuff enjoy your pantry your own way :) AN upside
down L sounds strange so maybe I have not seen it !!!!!!!!!!
The Rhododendrons in the Garden centre were on special offer at
that price ! Hopefully I can make it grow !!!!!!!!!!!
Our Bunnings in Whanganui have stopped selling plants as there
are too many local nurseries !!!! I Might try the one in Hawera
       .... !

I will take a photo of it today if I remember, so you can see
       what I mean.
Rhododendrons are quite easy to grow and if planted in the
ground can become a huge bush/tree before you know it. Some
people, while loving the flowers, consider them to be a
       weed!!!!!!!

I saw your lovely tidy and orderly pantry :) Much better than my
Pantry Cupboard ! I Might take a photo of mine tomorrow once I
       tidy it up !!!!!!!!!!!
I Never got chance to plant out my Rhodo. but I will do it .. if
it grows as you say then it can go at the end of this deck ! I
grow WEEDS anyway as my Borage and Comfrey plants are also
       considered Weeds :)
