i found that some apps needed to have ios 5+ so i just changed
the system version file to say 5.1.1 and it twas all good but
others need opengless 2.0 but sometimes you cant trick it to
think that. so try changing 4.2.1 to 5.1.1 or 5.0

Can you explain in more detail? I have been trying to do this
but everytime I failed. Like what directory is the file in and
what is the exact line to be changed?

yeah. system/library/coreServices/ then open the .plist called
SystemVersion and in that rename 4.2.1 to 5.0 or 5.1.1
btw it will also alow you to redownload songs from itunes with
out rebuying them
for that go to itunes on ipod/iphone then go more and it will
have an extra tab there.. i dont know what it is called cuss im
not jailbroken atm...

I have tried that. That doesn't change anything. I saw a post
about this a long time ago and it was a long post so I'm sure
there is more to it.

You must change a Systemversion & some .plist's in the .ipa
I'll post a tutorial how to do this! ;)

idk i just did that and it worked for me... so idk whats wrong
then but it only worked for some apps oters needed opengless 2.0

EDIT: Do you also have to edit the ProductBuildVersion??
