I've got these on the bench. Got to cut squish on them next.

Looks like a 2083 54mm saw on left in red. Yours?

Nice old saw there RevPop. The Countervibes make great saws
and are easy to work on and maintain. They are some of my
       favorite Poulans.
That is pretty cool that you even have the operators manual.
One of the things that made me scratch my head and then had to
verify in the owner's manual, which provided a very detailed
illustration of components installation/orientation is how the
bar and chain is oiled. Rather than through the bar adjusting
hole and through to the bottom of the chain and into the bar
groove from beneath this setup seems to simply dump or mist the
chain at a point between the bar clamp plates, where the setup
seems to drizzle oil onto top of the chain from the powerhead
side only. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with
inadequate bar lubrication in this series of chainsaw? -Revpop

So this is a Stihl 090 all original and not in bad shape. It
does not belong to me but I was asked to look at it and get it
running. It has a 20" hard nose bar and .404 chain semichisel
on it. I have it running pretty good now and I sharpened the
chain but I think I will drop the rakers a little lower to make
it cut faster. This thing is a beast and weighs a ton. It
does not have any antivibe that I can see and vibrates your
       hands like crazy.
       According to Acres 137cc.

Nice. I went over and did some cutting for Jim today. Saws in
       action board.
Got a few to set on the bench when I unload. In the poulan
       board.

This saw I got for free for fixing the Stihl 090. This is a
Jonsered 801 and is 80cc. I was told it had no spark when
given to me. I found the kill switch was bad and shorting to
ground all the time. It wreaked of bad fuel and the carburetor
is going to have to be rebuilt on it. It has a tillotson.
I did prime it through the carb and it fired so I think it will
be a good runner. I need to get a different bar and chain for
       it.

It should make a good saw. I noticed also the antivibe in some
spots are pretty loose. I have not taken the antivibe apart
yet to see what rubber parts are worn out.

Roger please make sure to put your 090 801 projects in the brand
boards so others can see your info and how to's etc.
Stuff gets buried here in this board like other places.
       Thanks
