By: chy_farm Date: December 28, 2016, 8:40 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Today's toy on my saw bench is a new welding torch, a Christmas present from my spouse. I did have 4 torches so far, large, middle, small and one for cutting. This extra mini is for welding 0.15mm to 0.5mm sheet metal. Now I should squeeze out time for trying this smallest one! #Post#: 75121-------------------------------------------------- Re: On the Chainsaw bench. By: aclarke Date: December 28, 2016, 10:39 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Nice torches! the mini should be about right for welding some tuned pipes!! By: dutchsawdoctor Date: December 29, 2016, 12:09 pm --------------------------------------------------------- great gift my friend, your a lucky guy #Post#: 75137-------------------------------------------------- Re: On the Chainsaw bench. By: chy_farm Date: December 30, 2016, 9:11 am --------------------------------------------------------- Thanks 3000FPS, Saul. your words make me step farther. Lately found an article, Automotive Body Repair News - December 1995, where this editor says he prefers aluminum to steel for gas welding, means as far gas welding aluminum is easy material to be welded not unless we know and keep several rules for this welding. It seems very informative to me. Chy #Post#: 75142-------------------------------------------------- Re: On the Chainsaw bench. TM Technologies also sell the appropriate goggles, etc. and have nice quality tools. #Post#: 75143-------------------------------------------------- Re: On the Chainsaw bench.
