Handle made from copper or just painted to look like it?
       [/quote]
Thank you Kevin for showing an interest on her! yes it's made
from a copper pipe. Glad if you enjoy pics below.

The copper handle is a nice match with the copper cover.

Wow :o didnt even catch that was homemade too. I thought it had
just been painted copper. 8) 8)

Thanks 3000FPS, yes I started this project nearly four years
ago. But I took some intervals of repose that sum up nearly two
       years.

I started a power pipe project for her.
First thing to do was knowing the exhaust port timing, from
opening to closing. I put a handmade disk on to the flywheel,
see a marking at the top which tells zero degrees when this port
       begins to open.
Turn the shaft to the right direction until it closes again, see
the disk how it tells the angle.
       It tell 160 degrees!
Now open the [Java Pipe] site, which provides an on-line
software to calculate the design, to put several required
       factors in the blanks.
       E.g. I put below factors;
Velocity of Rotation : 9600 rpm
Exhaust Port Angle : 160 degrees
Transfer Port Angle : 150 degrees (I did not measure this but it
seems in most cases a tad smaller than ex-port angle.)
Exhaust Port Area : 620 square milimeters
       Exhaust Gas Temperature : 653 degrees K ( equivalent to 380
       degrees Celsius)
The last line, the Exhaust Gas Temperature is a tricky part of
this designing to me. In the latest try for Echo Twin, I set 773
degrees K which is equivalent to 500 degrees Celsius, but
       perhaps it was too hot.
Anyways I got a couple of designs for her, see these below.

       Pretty neat stuff there Chy.
       I have a few questions.
       1) The RPM's you chose is 10,000 rpm. Is that based on what
the saw will turn in the wood or with out a load with bar and
       chain on.
       2) What gauge sheet metal are you using to build the pipe.
       3) Are you gas welding the Pipe together.
