I’m hoping for maybe a memorial day weekend opening?

Just an FYI, drove by today and there is no sign of any
construction that I could see going by on Rt. 9

It's a "non-essential" construction project according to state
guidelines so they really can't do any construction anyways.
Some construction companies are finding ways around the wording
though. But for reference, they didn't even obtain the
permitting for the Hurricane Harbor expansion until April last
year. Same for Pandemonium in April of 2018.

Sadly all that is going on will not only delay opening but delay
any new additions that were not already in place or almost in
       place.

This is going to be a very rough season if not a lost season.
Legoland already announced changing their grand opening to 2021.
Many of the new attractions for 2020 like this one will not be
ready when parks finally open if they do open. China started
opening back up last month and now I hear they are backing off
some permissions due to new outbreaks. This is not good news.
China is about 90 days ahead of the USA on the timeline
(although not exact in approach and mitigation of the spread) so
if they are not ready to have parks going strong in April it is
hard to see how USA will be by July. So I guess my point is
that this attraction in upstate NY won't be the only one delayed
this summer, they probably all will be and some to 2021.

These Six Flags parks lacked cleanliness even before this
outbreak so I'm sure when/if parks do reopen, people (including
myself) are going to be skeptical about going to the parks for a
while. It's not even realistic to think that rides could be
disinfected/wiped down between each and every cycle. And tables
at the food places were rarely cleaned even before all this. And
don't even get me started on the REPULSIVE water park locker
rooms and lockers, along with all the tubes and slides.
You likely won't catch me at New England or Great Escape this
summer unless things really die down.

I suspect I will go to each park but I was careful when I went.
I will be even more careful now. 2021 should be a straight
capital improvement year with trees and facilities being the
main focus. They have a late opening big ride they can ride out
which woudl mage this move at TGE even easier.

I think Adirondack Outlaw is probably gonna be built still. Six
Flags is going to want to add some rides in 2020 still and this
       ride has already been bought.
I’m guessing TGE is safe because-
       A) The park fought tooth and nail with the town to get it built,
       why give up now?
       B) It’s a very easy build, 2-3 day max.
       C) Six Flags has been pushing this because it is ‘essential for
Ghost Town,’ which has declining foot traffic.
       D) The park has been growing substantially over the last year
and Six Flags may want to see attendance continue to grow, this
       will help that.

I'm not concerned about the ride. If I gave that impression it
was not what I meant. I suspect it will be very much delayed.
