Also, remember that anything that is posted as a rumor is just that until the park confirms it! #Post#: 108-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: Mrceagle Date: May 3, 2019, 5:09 pm --------------------------------------------------------- It's hard to speculate. I have for years called for a water park addition. Which is ironic since I pretty much never use the water park. some have called for new trains on Superman which I think would be a great idea. We've seen 2 years of flats but I would not rule out another one. #Post#: 207-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: dellice45 Date: May 7, 2019, 11:36 am --------------------------------------------------------- I would of thought that a water park attraction would of come this year, but obviously that it's not coming, I haven't seen any work going on as if I could see on the area that is supposed to get a revamp as per the town meeting plans. Not sure if that is happening this year or next . I think we will get that Zamperella Endeavor and new trains for Superman, but anything can change as well all know how Cyborg came out of left field hahaha #Post#: 263-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: Mrceagle Date: May 8, 2019, 7:20 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Sounds fun but do you really think they will add new, what 3 million dollar, trains and buy a million + dollar flat. #Post#: 279-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: dellice45 Date: May 9, 2019, 2:24 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I do and the only reason I think so is Intamin no longer makes the current train and as we saw last year, those parts were made to order for the Superman Trains. Its something they need to invest in if they want to keep the ride going for even more years to come! As we know in the current situation with Six Flags, A New Attraction at every park every year, unless that changes. Superman Trains are not marketable, so they will have to suck it up and get a cheaper flat to go along with it! I do think the practice of new rides every year at every park needs to stop! They need to focus more on maintaining rides, the park and building up to adding a good attraction every other year or so! #Post#: 280-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: Mrceagle Date: May 9, 2019, 4:10 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I agree with the need for the new trains. I disagree that the Endever is a cheap ride. The ride itself is without question over a million to buy and they you have shipping and installation costs. A small flat, water park addition or Maybe even a Flashy show are lower costs additions that could be more economically feasible around buying new trains. #Post#: 330-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: Pineracer Date: May 14, 2019, 11:10 am --------------------------------------------------------- Dollywood could probably get away with just a new show, I don't think any Six Flags parks could though #Post#: 332-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: SuperWickedFun! Date: May 14, 2019, 6:11 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I disagree. In reality a smaller addition doesn’t gain even the public’s attention in the middle of everything being clearly know through social. I’m not saying to not have a new ride wouldn’t turn someone off but not the majority. Imagine if you had a couple year break with park improvements and then brought in something closer to WC and Superman. Bigger draws then a Larson Loop for the sake of an addition and I actually like that ride. Doesn’t need to be a 30 Million investment but better than what’s been the majority for new additions. So love HQ no complaints there. But coaster wise there is a real reason why Superman is the biggest draw all these years later and yes it’s better than MF. Sorry it is. #Post#: 342-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: dellice45 Date: May 16, 2019, 10:22 am --------------------------------------------------------- Six Flags could of gotten away with shows, but they went so many years without decent shows, they have gotten the customer base trained to get something new every year regardless of how big or small it is! Now we get what we get! So unless the new CEO does something different, then the current format will continue ! Which honestly works for Six Flags and what other parks do for their customers works. The only way you get change is change your habits , where you spend your money at the parks! If everybody stopped going or complained things would change, but’s it’s a group effort, not a one man army lol We all go, we complain , nothing changes due to them making money! When it hurts their bottom line, then and only then it changes! #Post#: 348-------------------------------------------------- Re: 2020 Speculation & Rumors By: Mrceagle Date: May 16, 2019, 6:21 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I have to agree and I've said it also they have set up an expectation and basically painted themselves into a corner. But if they put together the right show lineup I think they could get away with it ***************************************************** (DIR) Next Page
