I mean they really could make a kiddie area bigger and add more for the kids in a bigger area. I always felt if I owned a park I would have one big Kiddie area in the central area of the park with walkways coming out so that families could take the little ones on rides, then old kids in the family could take off and have a centralized area for families to meet! I mean if I was designing my own Park I would do that instead of scattered child areas #Post#: 1268-------------------------------------------------- Re: Six Flags Great Adventure By: Pineracer Date: October 13, 2019, 2:48 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Based on how thing are, I would retheme National Park to Bugs Bunny Boomtown and put the Kidide Coaster and the Taz ride in National Park, I would send Canyon Blaster and mix up the Seaport, Safari Kids, and some new rides for DC Super Friends, and do a new Spanish "Mercado" kids area with some of the Safari Kids rides and Tango. Some of the rides, such as the Frog Hopper and submarine ride I see getting scrapped, as well as another family coaster (Vekoma invert would be nice since MK is the first park in the US in ages to receive Vekomas-as both Seven Dwarfs and Tron were manufactured by them). I don't know if this is because they are not in Six Flags/Cedar Fair's budget or they just seem to have bad blood with them for some reason, there is always the Mack Big Dipper that would spike attendance equally. #Post#: 1436-------------------------------------------------- Re: Six Flags Great Adventure By: depotrat Date: November 8, 2019, 8:43 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I had a meeting in NJ today so we went to the park in the early afternoon. It was a brisk 43 degrees with some wind. The park was open Thursday and Friday because the NJ schools were closed for something, I am sure the brisk weather held down the crowd as there were not many folks there. They had a good selection of rides open including most of the coasters including El Toro which was a pleasant surprise considering the cold. Although we did not ride we saw Wonder Woman in action for the first time. It was very impressive. We also rode Nitro, Batman, and GC Railway. Others we saw open but did not ride were Mine Train, S:UF, Joker and Kingda Ka. There were probably some others open too. The longest line of about 15 min was for Justice League. Indoors was pretty attractive today - LOL We only stayed in the park a couple of hours but it was fun. Props to SFGADV for staying open between Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. #Post#: 1437-------------------------------------------------- Re: Six Flags Great Adventure By: Pineracer Date: November 9, 2019, 10:26 am --------------------------------------------------------- There's some conference. There's a school at the end of 322, which bisects Rowan's main campus, that had that on the sign (they also have Vetrens Day off, that's a 5 day weekend), I never had that in PA, maybe Veterans day a few times, but not sure. Anyways, 20 days til my next visit. #Post#: 1447-------------------------------------------------- Re: Six Flags Great Adventure By: depotrat Date: November 11, 2019, 5:16 am --------------------------------------------------------- After freezing last Saturday riding Nitro with multiple layers, gloves, and hats, this looks like it could be tough!!! If they are pushing a waiver htey know this publicity stunt is on the stupid side.
