@CozyLife I brought a gab guy over here, he immediately started flipping the fuck out, started a fight with graf, deleted his account then started attacking other members of a private server I was with him in before being banned from there then running back to Gab.

@CozyLife On reflection, I'm not sure either.Some have political pretensions— some serious— which require a larger audience. My intuition is that gab is larger and more amenable to voooooting. I don't really know if either is true.Some, I believe, stay because they want to influence the memesphere with ideas most "racist fedi" people consider common sense, but boomers don't. Not everyone there accepts race realism, for example.So the tldr is they're not there for fun, as far as I can tell. They have other motives of dubious utility, and which will vary by case.
