For those who celebrate, Happy Drink-O de Mayo!

SDF user, christyotwisty, has phosted her monthly 5 questions for the
month of May.[1] Here are my responses:

COT: How would you describe sleep to an alien?

xiled: If the alien understood English, I would describe sleep as the
essence of me exiting the vehicle and venturing to the place
that transcends while the vehicle is in the shop for
              diagnostics and repairs.

COT: What in your opinion is a fascinating cultural tradition or
            practice?

xiled: Fascinating cultural tradition...Halloween/Dia de los Muertos.
Embracing the living, remembering the dead. Costumes, candy,
              and calaveras!

COT: What's a beverage you loved, but was discontinued?

xiled: Josta. From wikipedia: "Josta was a soft drink brand that
was produced by PepsiCo and the first energy drink ever
introduced by a major US beverage company. It was marketed
as a "high-energy drink" with guarana and caffeine. "

COT: Have you ever experienced a "healing crisis" or withdrawal
            symptoms while recovering your health?

xiled: Well, I did go over the handle bars of my mountain bike
several years back. I was jumping the curbs on the driveway
aprons and did not anticipate the compression from the shocks
on my forks. This was my first bike with shocks on the front
forks and was used to fixed forks. The rebound had me flying
over the handle bars and gravity had me smashing my shoulder
into the pavement. The gas station attendant phone an
ambulance since she saw me go down and not get back up.
Nothing was broken, just a bruised ego and a b0rq'd shoulder.
I had to go through physical therapy to get my shoulder
re-aligned. The shoulder never went back to how it was and
my collarbone juts out underneath the skin. Lately, I've
been having to go back to doing the shoulder exercises and
bringing out the door pulley since there is shoulder pain
and the misalignment is noticeable. I don't want to lose my
              range of motion.

COT: Have you recently had a rediscovery?

xiled: I have rediscovered the joys of playing video games. I am
still allowed to play them even if I am biologically an adult.
Life shouldn't be so serious to not be able to enjoy playing
video games. I also rediscovered that I was not going to die
today so I better get back to the land of the living.
