Some progress on the Partner P100/Mac 1000.Danged oiler doesn't
do right .I'm thinkin because it had sat so long either the oil
waxed up or some idiot used veggie oil in it .If that's the case
they'd just as well used lard ,good grief . >:(
At any case the first try is with a tank full of WD 40 which
that and Kroil I buy by the gallon .I'm not sure how the pump
comes out and I really don't want to split the cases if I can
       help it .
Uncharted territory as I know little of nothing about a p100 or
any Partner saws for that matter .

Al, does it have a finger pump or automatic? Worked on one for
Mc Bob and Wojo but dont recall the pump set up.

It's automatic, crankshaft driven internally with a piston pump
hand oiler .I think the rotary pump might be able to be pulled
through the front away from the worm gear but rather than take a
chance it might come apart I'll try to flush the system first
.There isn't much info on this thing .

Oh Lawdy I tried every thing I knew on that damned saw to no
avail .What I heard was it had a pinched ignition wire .I must
have overlooked it .The thing was like trying to rope start a
       Harley . :o
Scott didn't have a bar for it but I had a race filed chain and
either a 10 series Mac 16" or a Huskey mount that fit it
I'd bet it ran good but I have no idea because Wojo disappeared
       off the internet .

I did get that Partner/McCulloch to oil finally .Weather it's
enough to oil a 32" bar remains to be seen .
I never really payed much attention to how much oil came out of
say the Stihls at slghtly above idle speed with the bar off .
Plus I'm used to real McCulloch thumb oilers that really pump
out the oil .This one pumps but not like a good ole Mac .
Good ole McRobert had a little blurb on his site that sent me in
the right direction about the oil system. Thanks Bob .
