Checked case screws on both they started tightening @ 3 nm. I've started checking them on everything now. 2002 2159 Jred I just picked up started @ 4 nm. Shep
I've had the same issue with those screws loosing up as well with that line of saws. More so the plastic cased saws. On new rebuilds I have been dabbing lock tight on the threads. On the course threaded bolts of the 340-350 series and Jonny CS plastic cased series, I dab the lower half of the screw with lock tight and the upper half below the head with 1194 or dirko. After checking the last 2 rebuilds, they seem to be staying tight. Time will tell. Just be sure to clean up & degrease the threads of the screws and the slots (holes) before applying. try this, it really helps. As far as whats on my bench, a 268xp with carb. issues, a 345 Husky with loose intake collar, a Dolly 7900 waiting for a HD air cleaner kit, and a Husky 66 waiting for a restoration job. LOL Not enough to do :D Soon as this ice melts, got to get some green honey locust cut to mix with dry. Can't wait. :( #Post#: 67478-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: Chainsawrepair Date: December 31, 2015, 10:35 am ---------------------------------------------------------
As far as whats on my bench, a 268xp with carb. issues,
Whats it doing? Went to adjust carb. and there was no idle screw. put a 61 carb. on. Get this fixed tomarrow and get it listed. Just got an Echo 330T done. Like running a whole new saw. Unreal what a M. mod & intake mod. can do to these little saws. #Post#: 67694-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: dutchsawdoctor Date: January 4, 2016, 2:21 pm --------------------------------------------------------- ;D ;D (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188126cx.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188127vs.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188128rq.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188129vs.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188134vp.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188135qf.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188136ti.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188137my.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188138zq.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188146xa.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188147gr.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188148yx.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188149fd.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188150ty.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188151xp.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188152ve.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188153ml.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188154pp.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188155hw.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188160vu.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188161lt.jpg #Post#: 67695-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: dutchsawdoctor Date: January 4, 2016, 2:26 pm --------------------------------------------------------- (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188196lp.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188197vl.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188198ok.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188199mp.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188200kv.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188203xl.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188204mc.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188205mn.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188206vk.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188207yh.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188209nu.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188210uu.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188211fd.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188212pl.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188213wr.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188216gz.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188217fx.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188219yz.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188220ez.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188221vb.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188224ye.jpg (HTM) http://up.picr.de/24188225ta.jpg #Post#: 67696-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: dutchsawdoctor Date: January 4, 2016, 2:31 pm --------------------------------------------------------- And a first start ;D ;D ;D ;D (HTM) https://youtu.be/ucqf7ZxBstc #Post#: 67699-------------------------------------------------- Re: Whats on your bench today By: Gatekeeper Date: January 4, 2016, 3:26 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I assembled the 2165 case today.
