I’m really hoping for: 1) Mobile Food Ordering 2) Paint on Blizzard and Bobsled 3) Show Lineup on par with/better than 2019 4) Theming in the queue for Adk. Outlaw #Post#: 2074-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: February 19, 2020, 10:49 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I all for more paint. The park has a number of areas that needed some attention. We have the new ride coming in near Deamon so if that ride is staying for a while it should get a fresh coat fo paint and maybe a better paint scheme. Most of the ghost town rides don't have themed queue lines so I don't suspect we will see any for outlaw. I like teh idea of better shows but they lack a stage to do a truely good show on. #Post#: 2085-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: February 20, 2020, 7:59 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I highly doubt we’re gonna see Steamin’ Demon get a new paint job unfortunately. #Post#: 2086-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: February 20, 2020, 8:40 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Hey, it's a wish list. But it's always agrivaed me when parks add new rides next to agging ones without repainting them. just makes teh old ones look older and more rundown. #Post#: 2090-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: February 20, 2020, 11:17 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Considering it’s age, I’ll say Steamin’ Demon doesn’t look too terrible but definitely needs work. I like a whole new color scheme, I never thought it fit the Ghost Town theme anyway. #Post#: 2096-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: February 21, 2020, 4:23 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Same hear and a new ride in the area is an easy argument for the extra budget to paint. I agree better shows would be nice but outside of a few parks SFI isn't really known for its shows. #Post#: 2099-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: CodyatTGE Date: February 21, 2020, 9:48 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Yeah but is TGE really a token Six Flags park anyway. We don’t fit in too well so why stop now? #Post#: 2100-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Mrceagle Date: February 22, 2020, 9:58 pm --------------------------------------------------------- SFOG had Resanably goos shows when I was there and SFFT is known for its shows and has a couple of very large theaters with a lot of seating. outside of that SFI doesn't put much effort into shows. I mean he big theater at SFNE is a converted carousel house. Regardless of how TGE compares to SF its still a SF budget and SFI doesn't budget for shows. #Post#: 2101-------------------------------------------------- Re: General Park Discussion By: Metsfan Date: February 23, 2020, 1:55 pm --------------------------------------------------------- The problem with the dive show (and most any sort of stunt show) is that the actors putting on the show are not direct employees of Great Escape, they're contracted third party companies. Why would the park contract with a third party company when they can just pay teenagers minimum wage to dress like pirates and prance around on a stage? Stinks, but it's the reality. ***************************************************** (DIR) Previous Page (DIR) Next Page
