I mean that’s what it boils down too yeah. That’s why I say I’d
give up a new ride one year for shows, so money can go to that.

I’m really excited for 2020 after all the new info that just
came out.
For those who missed it-
-Mobile Ordering is a go
-Repainting Blizzard
-The majority of cardboard cutout signs for the rides are 3D now
-General maintenance and TLC on both of the turnaround sections
on Comet.
-New animatronics on Desperado
-New lift hill on Raging River
-Updates to Charley’s Saloon and other Ghost Town shops

Thanks for the update, didn’t see that come out. Glad to see
someone was paying attention to every park survey I do where I
always write, fix the animatronics on Desparado., paint the
blizzard and CB.. now iif they would only fix the waterfalls on
RR.

I want a full RR revamp eventually to be honest.
I’m just really excited to see all the enhancements in Ghost
Town.

Good point. On the money side, it's much cheaper. But cheap
shows add little to nothing for the park. A cheap show is simply
there, no one will visit simply to see the show. Were as a solid
outsourced show can be an attraction in itself.
You can still hire locals just not as Minimum wage. Canobie lake
park hires an outside company to produce the shows but has open
calls to staff dancers. The key performers are brought in,
mostly from Vegas. so wish would you rather see a local dancing
around liek a pirate mostly not knowing what they are doing or a
full-scale show.

needed a paint job.

I spoke with some park supervisors who told me the ferris wheel
is closed “for the foreseeable future.”
I know it has low ridership, so that may be a factor. I wonder
if it’s going to be fully removed this year, and if so I can see
a Starflyer replacing it.

Do you year thing every park needs a star flyer. I can see you
think they are amazing. Personally I don't. It's an average
ride a bit more thrill than a Ferris wheel but once your past
the tree line the view is fine. at 48" height requirement, less
of the park's key guests can ride a Star Flyer over the Ferris
wheel. A Feris wheel also has far less operating costs.
You're also taking an extremely different footprint. So the area
may not be able to fit something with a footprint that large.

I’m not a huge fan but that just seemed like what they’d do
right there given the land opened up with the Ferris Wheel. I’m
not sure what they’d replace it with.
