It would be unique for them and the area but it's an expensive
ride to operate.
They could save some money and get a single arm as is LC only
operates one side at a time now that that atetio no the ride is
lower.

Screamin' Swings are my favorite rides but they are wildly
expensive to operate and maintain, which is why parks don't
install them. It's also the reason parks have them as up-charge
attractions or only run 1 of the arms. I won't buy into the
Ferris Wheel rumor until the park is open, but the ride is from
the late 80's and I wouldn't be surprised if they see Outlaw as
a better alternative to the Wheel. (They removed Pirate because
they felt that Supernova's ride experience was similar enough to
warrant it)

Yet here as SFNE they keep sets of nearly identical rides. Too
bad the pirate ship spot couldn't fit a rehabbed relocated
Ferris wheel. it would get way more riders if it was easier to
get it.

Yeah that spot is tough for any ride, and it’s going to be
unless the expand into the picnic area.

Not sure how much of a need there is to expand the picnic
ground. SFNEuses the whistlestop area as an area for members.
Maybe they could build a nice laung there for Members. It's out
of the way and would give them a private area to rest, get a
drink refill, and You can set up Wifichargign stations.

I drove by the park earlier today. No sign of any work being
done on Adirondack Outlaw that I could see. The whole area
looked normal. Wondering if or when opening day will be?

Amusement parks in New York fall under the last phase of opening
(phase 4) which wouldn't come until July 11th at the earliest.
And that's IF the numbers cooperate - if they don't, that July
11th date is just going to get pushed back. The lodge would fall
under phase 3, 2 weeks earlier than July 11th.
The sad reality is there are going to be parks across the
Northeast that don't even find it worthwhile to open this year
just like Funtown Splashtown in Maine. On top of being forced to
put attendance caps on the parks, these parks literally have no
idea who or how many people are going to show up this year. On
top of that, these parks that rely on foreign workers are going
to have a tough time staffing a full park.
